In 1987, Pylones diversified its creations with colorful and figurative latex, introducing a collection of suspenders that brought together various creators, including founders Léna and Serge, as well as external designers and a painter friend, Marc Fletcher. The latter designed and sculpted the major success of the collection. The product is entirely made, cast, sewn, and packaged by hand in the Pylones workshops in the Paris region.
In 1985, everything started with latex: malleable, vibrant, and unpredictable. A group of bold friends dreamed of creating something entirely new. Forty years later, while digging through our archives and memories, we rediscovered true hidden treasures. Today, we invite you to rediscover these creations, witnesses to a story that continues to unfold. A journey to the origins of Pylones. These iconic pieces, crafted in our workshops in Nanterre, were born from a unique expertise: the molding of colorful rubber. At the time, we were the only ones to master this technique. We would sketch in the evening, and a few days later, the first pieces would come to life. Bold then, unchanged today, they are ready to write a new chapter. Our technique has evolved, but our desire remains the same: to make you smile!
