Order process
To place an order on the website www.pylones.com, the Client must follow the steps below:
1. Selection of items
The Client views the item(s) of their choice and adds them to the basket. The basket is the summary of the order currently in progress.
2. Basket validation
The Client may continue shopping by clicking “Continue shopping” or proceed to validate the order by clicking “Checkout”.
A detailed order summary is displayed. The Client may amend the order before final validation.
3. Identification and entry of information
The Client must identify themselves either by creating an account or by logging in using their email address and password if they already have an account.
They then provide the information required for billing and delivery.
The Client is required to verify the accuracy of the information provided. The information communicated is binding on the Client. In the event of an error in the delivery details, PYLONES cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the ordered items.
4. Choice of delivery method
The Client selects one of the delivery methods offered.
5. Choice of payment method and final validation
The Client chooses their payment method from those offered and declares that they have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
Final validation of the order constitutes acceptance of the prices and characteristics of the products. The order thus validated constitutes a firm and final commitment by the Client and may only be challenged in the cases expressly provided for in these T&Cs.
6. Order confirmation
An order confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the Client.
PYLONES reserves the right not to confirm an order for legitimate reasons, in particular in the event of supply problems, an anomaly in the order or difficulties relating to payment.
Account creation ☝
Creating a customer account requires entering the mandatory information requested on the website, namely:
• a valid email address;
• a personal password;
• one or more addresses (billing and/or delivery);
• a telephone number.
The Client undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. They are solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and the use of their account.
The personal area thus created enables the Client in particular to:
• view the history and details of their orders;
• manage their return requests;
• view and use their credits and discount vouchers;
• view and amend their personal information;
• view their lists and product alerts.
Prices and payment terms ☝
The prices of the items are indicated in euros (€), pounds sterling (£), Swiss francs (CHF) or US dollars ($), depending on the country of delivery selected by the Client. The applicable prices are those in force on the date the order is validated by the Client.
For orders destined for a Member State of the European Union, prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) applicable on the date of the order.
For orders destined for a country outside the European Union, items are invoiced exclusive of tax, at the price in force on the date the order is validated.
For orders outside the European Union, goods shipped from France may be subject, upon entry into the destination country, to customs clearance procedures as well as the payment of customs duties, local taxes, import duties or any other charges applicable under the regulations in force on the date of import.
These charges and formalities fall exclusively under the competent authorities of the destination country and remain entirely payable by the recipient. It is the recipient’s responsibility to obtain information in advance from the local authorities regarding the applicable import conditions.
In the event of non-payment of sums due, refusal to pay duties and taxes, or failure to complete the necessary formalities within the time limits set by the competent authorities, the parcel may be held, destroyed or returned to the sender. In such a case, PYLONES cannot be held liable.
The prices indicated do not include delivery charges, which are specified to the Client before final validation of the order.
Payment of the full price is due at the time of the order. Validation of the order entails an obligation to pay the stated price.
Payment may be made by the following methods:
• by bank card: the Client is redirected to the secure page of the payment provider HIPAY, on which they must provide the required information (cardholder name, card number, expiry date, security code, etc.);
• by Illicado gift card or Pylones gift card (physical or digital), under the conditions provided when they are used;
• by PayPal (via PayPal account or bank card via PayPal): the Client is redirected to PayPal’s secure interface;
• by Google Pay or Apple Pay;
• by any other local payment method offered depending on the country of delivery (including iDEAL, Bancontact, etc.).
An electronic invoice, showing the amount of VAT where applicable, is made available to the Client in their personal area and may be downloaded or printed.
In accordance with legal provisions, PYLONES retains full ownership of the ordered items until full payment of the price by the Client, including principal and ancillary sums.
Delivery charges ☝
Delivery charges are calculated according to the delivery address provided, the selected transport method and the total weight of the parcel.

For information purposes:
• the average time is two (2) to three (3) working days for delivery in mainland France;
• it is three (3) to seven (7) working days for delivery within the European Union.
These periods are expressed in working days and start from the date of dispatch of the order.
PYLONES cannot be held liable for delays or the impossibility of delivery resulting from force majeure, the act of the carrier, postal services or any event beyond its control. Likewise, PYLONES cannot be held liable in the event of retention, blockage or inspection of goods by the competent authorities of the destination country.
Delivery methods ☝
Depending on the destination country, PYLONES offers different carriers, each subject to its own general terms of service.

For information purposes, the delivery time is two (2) to three (3) working days for mainland France and seven (7) to twenty-one (21) working days for overseas territories, from the date of dispatch of the order.
The parcel is handed over personally to the recipient or to any person authorised to receive it. If the dimensions of the parcel allow it, it may be placed in the recipient’s letterbox.
If the recipient is absent or delivery to the letterbox is not possible, the parcel is made available at the local post office indicated in the delivery notice or notification sent to the Client.
The Client has ten (10) calendar days from the date the parcel is made available to collect it. If it is not collected within this period, the parcel will be returned to the sender.

Mondial Relay – Delivery to a Point Relais®
The Client chooses a Point Relais®. The indicative delivery time is two (2) to five (5) working days. The parcel must be collected within seven (7) calendar days following its availability. If the selected pick-up point is unavailable (in particular due to saturation, exceptional closure or logistical constraint), the carrier may redirect the parcel to another nearby pick-up point. The Client will be informed by any appropriate means.
The provision of a valid mobile telephone number is mandatory in order to enable proper routing and tracking of the delivery.
Receipt of parcels ☝
The Client is required to check, at the time of delivery and before signing the delivery note where applicable, the contents, conformity and apparent good condition of the parcel.
Any anomaly relating to transport (in particular breakage, damage, damaged packaging, missing product or product not matching the delivery note) must be the subject of precise and detailed reservations with the carrier and must be reported to PYLONES within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of the items.
In accordance with the applicable legal provisions, the risks of loss or damage to the products are transferred to the Client when the Client, or a third party designated by the Client other than the carrier, physically takes possession of the ordered items.
Payment security ☝
Payments made by bank card on the website are secured via the HIPAY provider protocol.
Banking data is transmitted securely using an encryption process that complies with current standards (SSL/TLS protocol), as indicated by the presence of “https” in the browser address bar. Information relating to the Client’s bank card is not stored by PYLONES.
Payment data is processed and, where applicable, stored by HIPAY in encrypted form for the period strictly necessary for managing the commercial relationship, without exceeding two (2) years from the last transaction, unless a contrary legal obligation applies.
In accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act, the Client has a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability regarding their personal data.
Any request relating to the data processed by HIPAY may be sent to the following address: [email protected], subject to proof of identity.
In the event of payment via PayPal (through a PayPal account or bank card via PayPal), the Client is redirected to the secure interface of the PayPal provider, which alone ensures the processing and security of the related payment data.
Click & Reserve (commercially referred to as “Click & Collect”) ☝
The “Click & Reserve” service, presented for commercial purposes under the name “Click & Collect”, allows the Client to reserve online one or more items available in a PYLONES store, for later collection in store.
The reservation made by the Client constitutes neither an order within the meaning of distance selling nor a contract of sale. It does not involve any online payment and entails neither transfer of ownership nor transfer of risk.
The sale is concluded exclusively in store, at the time payment is made for the reserved items, subject to their actual availability.
The selected store confirms to the Client, by any appropriate means, the availability of the items and that the reservation has been taken into account. In the absence of confirmation, the reservation shall not be deemed accepted.
1. Scope of application
The “Click & Reserve” service is offered in PYLONES stores located in France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Austria, subject to the relevant store taking part in the scheme and to the actual availability of products in the selected point of sale.
Not all items offered for sale on the website www.pylones.com are necessarily eligible for the Click & Reserve service.
PYLONES reserves the right to amend at any time the list of participating stores as well as the eligible products, without prior notice.
2. Reservation terms
The Client may reserve up to six (6) different references per reservation request.
Each item must be the subject of a separate reservation. However, when several reservations are completed within fifteen (15) minutes, they may be grouped together and processed as a single request by the selected store.
The reservation request constitutes a simple request for items to be set aside and does not constitute either a firm order or a distance sales contract.
It does not create any purchase obligation for the Client.
PYLONES cannot be held liable for any subsequent unavailability due to a stock error, a simultaneous sale in store or any other cause beyond its control.
3. Payment
No payment is required at the time of online reservation.
The sale is concluded exclusively in store, at the time payment is made for the reserved items, subject to their actual availability and acceptance of payment.
Payment is made in store, using the payment methods accepted by the relevant store.
4. Confirmation and collection period
The reservation request is sent to the selected store for verification of availability.
The Client receives, during the store’s opening hours, an SMS and/or email confirming the availability of the reserved products. This confirmation constitutes acceptance of the reservation by the store.
The reservation only becomes effective upon the sending of this confirmation.
The Client has three (3) calendar days from confirmation to collect the items in store.
If the items are not collected within this period, the reservation is automatically cancelled, without indemnity or compensation, and the items are put back on sale.

1. Joining the programme
Joining the MyPylones loyalty programme is free of charge, strictly personal and reserved for natural persons. For minors, membership is subject to prior authorisation from the legal representative.

2. Operation and benefits of the programme
Any purchase made in store or on www.pylones.com, upon identification of the Client, allows points to be accumulated, including during sale or promotional periods.
Accumulation of points
• One (1) euro (or equivalent local currency) spent, excluding delivery charges, equals one (1) point.

The voucher is:
• valid for three (3) months from its date of issue;
• usable in a single transaction;
• combinable with current promotions;
• valid in store or on www.pylones.com.
Upon expiry of the voucher, it is lost, but the accumulated points remain available.
Validity of points
Points are valid for twelve (12) months from the last purchase.
Each new purchase extends the validity date for a new period of twelve (12) months.
In the absence of any purchase for more than twelve (12) consecutive months, the points balance is reset to zero.

• Birthday offer: a 20% voucher valid in a single transaction within thirty (30) days following the birthday date, combinable with promotions;

• Information on offers and new products by email or SMS
Accumulated points cannot give rise to any refund or financial compensation.
In the event of exercising the right of cancellation regarding an order that gave rise to the issue or use of a voucher from the MyPylones programme, the voucher used may under no circumstances be refunded, reissued or re-credited.
Likewise, if cancellation or refund of an order leads to a reduction in the number of points acquired, PYLONES reserves the right to adjust the member’s points balance accordingly.
3. Amendment – Suspension – Termination
PYLONES reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate at any time the MyPylones programme and these general membership conditions.
Any amendment shall be communicated in advance by any appropriate means (email, SMS, in-store display or on the website).
In the event of abusive, fraudulent use or use contrary to these conditions, PYLONES reserves the right to deactivate the loyalty account and cancel the points acquired without compensation.
The MyPylones programme is governed by French law.
4. Protection of personal data
Personal data collected within the framework of the MyPylones programme is processed in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The Client is invited to consult the personal data protection policy available on the website www.pylones.com.
Commercial offers and communications ☝
Subject to the Client’s prior consent, PYLONES may send them commercial information by email, SMS or via its digital media.
The Client may unsubscribe at any time:
• by clicking the unsubscribe link included in emails;
• by replying “STOP” to SMS messages;

Thus, an E-Card denominated in euros may only be used in a store or on a version of the website accepting payments in euros.
2. Validity period

Upon expiry of this period, the E-Card may no longer be used or renewed. No refund of the remaining balance may be claimed.

Right of Cancellation ☝
From receipt of the parcel, the Client has a right of cancellation of thirty (30) days allowing them to reconsider their decision, without having to provide any reason. Exercising this right may give rise, at the Client’s choice and under the conditions defined below, to an exchange, the issue of a credit note or the refund of the relevant items.
Exchange ☝
From receipt of the parcel, the Client has thirty (30) days to exchange all or part of the items ordered on pylones.com, either by going to a Pylones store or by returning the products to the following address:
PYLONES SAS – Returns Department
41, avenue de l'Agent Sarre
92700 Colombes
France
In the event of a request for exchange for an equivalent item, the Client must clearly indicate the reference of the desired product on the invoice enclosed with the return parcel.
Pylones will bear the cost of re-dispatching the exchanged product. If a price difference is identified in favour of the Client, this will be refunded.
If the product requested in exchange has a higher price than that of the returned product, the Client is invited to request a refund for the initial product and place a new order.
For any purchase made between 1 November and 31 December, return or exchange is possible until 31 January of the following year.
Refund or credit note ☝
From receipt of the parcel, the Client has thirty (30) days to request a refund for all or part of the items ordered on pylones.com.
The request may be made either by going to a Pylones store or by returning the products to the following address:
PYLONES SAS – Returns Department
41, avenue de l'Agent Sarre
92700 Colombes

For returns made by post, processing takes place within fourteen (14) days from the date the parcel is received by Pylones.
In the event of the return of a product to a Pylones store, the Client must present the invoice corresponding to the order placed on pylones.com.
In the event of a refund request in store, the salesperson will send the information to the Pylones Returns Department. The refund will then be made via the payment method used for the order (bank card, PayPal), within seventy-two (72) hours from transmission of the information. Under no circumstances may the refund be made directly in store.
If the right of cancellation is exercised within the above period, the Client will be refunded the price of the returned items.
The initial delivery costs will also be refunded only if the order is returned in full. In the event of partial cancellation, delivery costs will not be refunded.
For all purchases made between 1 November and 31 December, returns are possible until 31 January of the following year.
Exchange and refund terms ☝
The cost of returning items remains payable by the Client.
Returned products must be accompanied by proof of purchase (online invoice), must not have been used, must not have been damaged, and must be returned in their original packaging.
PYLONES cannot process any exchange or refund in the event of loss of the parcel during return transit if the Client is unable to provide proof of posting or a tracking number.
It is not possible to make a return in store for an order placed on a marketplace or on any other reseller’s website. The Client is invited to contact the relevant platform directly in order to find out the applicable return conditions.
Guarantees ☝
PYLONES is liable for defects in conformity of the goods sold in accordance with Articles L217-3 to L217-4 of the French Consumer Code, partly reproduced below.
Art. L. 217-4. “The seller delivers goods that conform to the contract and is liable for defects in conformity existing at the time of delivery. The seller is also liable for defects in conformity resulting from packaging, assembly instructions or installation where this was made their responsibility under the contract or was carried out under their responsibility.”
Art. L 217-5. “The goods conform to the contract: 1° if they are fit for the use usually expected of similar goods and, where applicable: - if they correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities that the seller presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model; - if they present the qualities that a buyer may legitimately expect having regard to the public statements made by the seller, the producer or their representative, in particular in advertising or labelling; 2° or if they present the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or are fit for any special use sought by the buyer, brought to the seller’s attention and accepted by the seller.”
Art. L. 217-12. “Any action resulting from a lack of conformity is time-barred after two years from delivery of the goods.”
PYLONES is also bound by the statutory warranty against hidden defects under the conditions set out in Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code, as well as Article 2232 of the same code, partly reproduced below.
Art. 1641. “The seller is bound by the warranty for hidden defects in the thing sold which render it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or which impair that use to such an extent that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have paid a lower price for it, had they known of them.”
Art. 1648 – first paragraph. “Any action resulting from redhibitory defects must be brought by the purchaser within two years from the discovery of the defect.”
Art. 2232 of the Civil Code “The postponement of the starting point, suspension or interruption of limitation may not have the effect of extending the period of extinctive limitation beyond twenty years from the day the right arose. The first paragraph is not applicable in the cases mentioned in Articles 2226, 2227, 2233 and 2236, in the first paragraph of Article 2241 and in Article 2244. Nor does it apply to actions relating to the status of persons.”
PYLONES therefore reminds the consumer that, within the framework of the statutory warranty of conformity:
- they have a period of two years from the delivery of the goods to take action;
- they may choose between repair or replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions provided for in Article L. 217-9 of the Consumer Code: “In the event of a lack of conformity, the buyer chooses between repair and replacement of the goods. However, the seller may refuse to proceed according to the buyer’s choice if that choice entails a manifestly disproportionate cost compared to the other method, taking into account the value of the goods or the significance of the defect. The seller is then required to proceed, unless impossible, according to the method not chosen by the buyer.”
- they are exempt from proving the existence of the lack of conformity of the goods during the twenty-four months following delivery of the goods.
The consumer is also informed that the statutory warranty of conformity applies independently of any commercial warranty that may have been granted. The consumer may also decide to invoke the warranty against hidden defects of the thing sold within the meaning of Article 1641 of the Civil Code and, in this case, may choose between cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with Article 1644 of the Civil Code.
