A wave of pink, a surge of life!
At Pylones, we love bright colours, laughter... and heartfelt causes! So, when October turns pink to support the fight against breast cancer, we wholeheartedly join in with emotion and solidarity.
It all began in 1994 with a campaign initiated by Estée Lauder Companies and Marie Claire magazine. A few years later, the association "Le Cancer du Sein, Parlons-en!" was born. Since 2020, it proudly bears a new name: Ruban Rose. A beautiful way to unite beauty, hope, and commitment!
Each year, through the Pink October campaign, Ruban Rose informs, raises awareness, and collects funds to advance medical research. And it matters! Because:
- 1 in 8 women risks developing breast cancer during her lifetime.
- 58,400 new cases are detected each year.
- Yet, when detected early, it is cured in 9 out of 10 cases.
These figures inspire us to act, share, spread the message – and proudly wear our most beautiful pink ribbon!

Pylones goes all pink
In 2021, at Pylones, we saw life in pink... for a great cause! For the very first time, we proudly joined the Pink October movement, this essential campaign led each year by the Ruban Rose association to inform, prevent, and support research against breast cancer.
A wave of prevention and information
Throughout October, our universe was tinged with messages of hope: on our networks, in our shops, our teams shared useful information, simple but crucial gestures, to remind the importance of screening.
A collection full of meaning... and colours!
And since at Pylones we love to give with heart, each pink or fuchsia blown glass jewel and each creation from our Pompon collection sold in-store or online, helped to donate €1 to the Ruban Rose association. The result? A shower of small solidarity purchases, a great surge of generosity.
A creative boost for a good cause
Our Parisian customers also enjoyed a touch of beauty with candy pink Nail Art in our Pont Neuf shop – a little moment of sweetness offered in exchange for a free donation, entirely donated to the association.
This first commitment was a real fireworks display of solidarity, creativity, and generosity. And because we love to make beautiful stories last, the adventure continues with as much heart... and always in 100% Pylones mode!
