Our values
In 1985, a group of particles collided with each other in Paris and the resultant explosion of creativity provided the main impetus and energy for what has become the cornerstone of our business: the creation of beautiful objects. Very quickly, the makeshift workshop was transformed into a joyful production workshop to satisfy the demands of our growing number of customers. The moulds were stacking up, there was colour everywhere, and the designs got wilder and wilder! This romantic collection of bric-a-brac soon turned into our first shop in Paris on the Île Saint-Louis in 1987. And our creations? We shake things up, we reinvent them and lovingly embellish them with motifs from in-house or independent designers. Bright, subtle, figurative or abstract, our objects are real creations! Why Pylones? Just like the real pylons out there, those huge structures that circulate energy and cross borders, we wanted to spread our arms wide to hug the planet and transmit the good vibes!
Because we believe in French expertise and want to advocate it everywhere, our creations become the standard-bearers for this know-how all over the world! Our hand-crafted French-made jewellery embodies the kind of freedom that is brimming with creativity, displaying a wide range of "couture" colours reminiscent of the heyday of Parisian fashion! As we champion know-how, our craftspeople blow each piece of jewellery by mouth, finishing every piece of jewellery to the same high standard. This unique relationship with the glass forges a powerful bond between the material and the artist to make each creation a work of art!
We strive every day to ensure that our creations are responsibly integrated and created in an ecological and sustainable production chain. This is why we have drastically reduced the use of disposable plastic at all levels, from product packaging to order picking. Also, we want to give a second life to our products with slight defects through our "Second Chance" section. In the same vein, we have introduced a lifetime guarantee for our insulated bottle caps, our 'Keep Cool', and a free premium repair service for your items! Finally, this desire to reduce our carbon footprint is embodied in an awareness of good habits that should be adopted a daily basis by all our employees; selective sorting, recycled cardboard, smart energy consumption and reduction of the digital footprint.

For many years, Pylones has been involved in various solidarity partnerships and associations to spread colour and put smiles on everybody's faces! From our support for the SPA to our sponsorship of the Louvre Museum, we have firm convictions and we put our money where our mouth is. We also joined the fight against breast cancer, taking part in the Pink October campaign. Convinced that smiles and laughter are medicine's best friends when it comes to restoring good health, we have been supporting Le Rire Médecin for several years as we believe in many of the same values. Last but not least we are also committed to Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque and Prométhée Humanitaire with whom we have been working hand in hand for several years.
